Biography
Steve Pullara is a gifted performer. He's a multi-award winning children's recording artist with 14 albums and a GRAMMYⓇ Winning children's album producer. His skills as a workshop seminar presenter and public speaker are also sought after. This artist's work on "All About Bullies...Big And Small" was awarded the GRAMMY for Best Children's Album. Steve's recording projects have been cited with Gold Seals in both the Parents' ChoiceⓇ Awards & NAPPAⓇ Awards. His artistic achievements for children with the "All About Bullies" album have also been recognized with a citation into the logs of the United States Congress. Steve Pullara is a Philadelphia based New Jersey born singer/songwriter/artist whose musical roots go deep within many cultural traditions. In his nearly 30 years of musical concerts, you can hear influences from Steve's Grandfather Giuseppe, Pete Seeger and Louis Prima. Often, in live performances, Steve blends a mix of drawing and singing that harken the days of the Gene London and the Sandy Becker TV shows from the 50's & 60's. With many years of entertaining kids and families under his belt in the Philly region and nationally, he is comfortable with this niche and very at home with his audience. Often, Steve is seen entertaining on his TV show and at commercial and non commercial venues such as: large amphitheaters, zoos, township parks, schools, hospitals and festivals. At these sites you can also enjoy him in concert , solo, or with his band called: Steve Pullara and His Cool Beans Band. He's also entertained on WXPN's Kids Corner, NBC's Children's Miracle Network Telethon, Give the Kids the World in Kissimmee, Florida, The American Lung Association and The March Of Dimes. Steve enjoys putting smiles on faces and is often helping organizations raise money for their particular causes.
