"Steve Pullara, singer/songwriter/producer and GRAMMY winning artist known primarily for his award-winning children's albums, has launched a new CD, but it's something really different - "Another Happy Sole." This snappy and thoughtful Folk Music tribute, is a loving embrace to his legions of fans who are all grown up and have journeyed with him for the past 30 years. Musical selections, written and performed by Pullara and His Red Earded Sliderz, are sure to delight anyone who is a kid at heart!" - Paula Slade, Reviewer "Audiobooks, Entertainment and Media" August 2014

"Fun, upbeat, whimsical - that is the Steve Pullara writing style. These new songs provide a worthwhile listening experience that will transport you to a happy place."

"Steve and those Red Eared Sliderz have brought a unique arrangement to this
beloved Beatles song "I've Just Seen A Face" while capturing the spirit and fun of the original." -Andre Gardner, "Breakfast With The Beatles," National Syndication, WMGK

"Another Happy Sole" is a wonderful Americana album presented by GRAMMY Winning Producer Steve Pullara and the Red Eared Sliderz.  Each song tells a story with clean and easy to understand lyrics which reflects living life in America.  Some of the them are uplifting such as "Being With You" and "Celebrate You".  Then there are the "story teller" songs which are quite enjoyable such as "The Times of John Glenn" and "When I Was A Kid".  You can always rely on Mr. Pullara to provide some humor in his music!  All  must listen to "Buckaroo Shuffle" as well as "My Guitar is Like An Old Dog".  My favorite on the album is "Fumes And A Prayer" which is a delightful combination of the types of songs I previously mentioned. "Another Happy Sole" is a treasure and can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages. - Kevin Mongelli, Bronze Medal Winner at the 2014 Global Music Awards in two categories:  Composition and Instrumental

"Steve Pullara without missing a beat shows off his diverse song craft in his new Americana CD titled "Another Happy Sole". Right from the first up-beat and catchy track "Fumes And A Prayer" it's clear he is very comfortable in the category. All the songs are well arranged and musically executed in the Americana style of music with excellent sound production quality. Some of my personal favorites are "The Times of John Glenn", the fantastically unique rendition of the Beatles classic "I've Just Seen A Face", "Celebrate You", and the excellent guitar work of "My Guitar Is Like An Old Dog." Steve's comforting vocal style adds to the depth and personality of each song. This is an excellent and must listen to CD! "Thank you Steve for the musical treat this morning. I'm sitting on our neighbors dock on beautiful Lake Santa Fe, just thinking about all of the great songs on your new album. What a great tribute to John Glenn, "The Times Of John Glenn". . . "Celebrate You" triggered a few tears. . . your arrangement of "I've Just Seen A Face" is awesome, it really caused me to focus on the lyrics. So much here to share with our children & grandchildren. Your songs also made me think about how much I know about you as a person. . . your character, your heart & soul even though I have not yet met you "face to face". I'll be 67 this month and yes, I'm still very much a "child at heart". I'm looking forwarding to purchasing CDs of all your music & sharing it with family and friends. Your music also caused me to think about your wonderful Dad & Mom and the indescribable influence that they have been in your life." - Reed S. Franklin, Folk Musician and Entertainer

"ANOTHER HAPPY SOLE" written and produced by Steve Pullara is Unbelievable! Steve, who is better known as Cool Beans and entertainer of children, has switched gears this year with his first FOLK Album! Steve is reaching the same audience as he did twenty years ago. Once his listeners were children, now they are adults enjoying his great lyrics, catchy melodies and joyful music! All of us kids at heart will enjoy the topics of his songs and each song sparks a moment in time that we will remember always! Thanks Steve (aka, BEAN) for giving the world a new Album to fill our ears with Happiness!!" - Georgia Germond, aka Gator, GRAMMY Nominee, Little House Of Music

PS: Hey, Robert Plant & Steve Martin did a few AMERICANA albums! I wonder if Steve will come out with a "Heavy Metal Album Next Year" LOL

"Grammy Winning producer Steve Pullara is best known for his wonderful Cool Beans Band children’s music. On "Another Happy Sole" he gives us a delightful slice of Americana - fun, witty, charming and lighthearted, this album is enjoyable from start to finish. A sweet blend of folk and bluegrass styles that is easy on the ears and heart. Very enjoyable! " - Paul Avgerinos, GRAMMY Nominee, New Age Music Composer

"Lovely acoustic sound on the track Celebrate You and the violin coupled with accordion equates to a really happy vibe and very catchy chorus. Fumes And A Prayer is a really cool title and once again really infectious sound. I really like the banjo and harmonica in Times of John Glenn which is also a great idea for a song. Now for my favourite track – I absolutely love the lyrics on My Guitar Is Like An Old Dog. It’s just great song and its so happy. I can’t help but smile my way through through it and in no small part because it sounds like he is doing the same. I love the line ‘it’s a real good pup’  and the keychange up and down for the solo also works really well. This could easily be a hit, and in fact I won’t be surprised if it is. This is followed by a really nice version of I’ve Just Seen A Face with a cool slant on it leading into interesting changes with Shopping Mall and Buckaroo Shuffle. This is another real feel good track and I like the stops in the middle of this, and the solo just after them ‘If you win the lottery – you’ll get more friends than’ is a great line. And then, I Will Love You Always provides a nice change of pace with the piano working really nicely. Another great opening line is "When I Was A Kid – I used to act like one" –great feel on the track with excellent lyrics. I like the violin playing throughout the album and I think you’ve got a really good live sort of vibe going throughout this very nicely produced and presented album– well done Steve thanks for a great listen."  - Trevor Sewell, British Blues Winner in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2011, Runner up in the British Blues Awards 2012 and winner of The Artists in Music Award for Best Blues Artist 2013 in Los Angeles,  four nominations across two different categories - 'Best Blues' and Americana

I am listening to 'Another Happy Sole' by Steve Pullara and really enjoying the album. The production is excellent and the strings, acoustic guitar, and banjo are all mixed so nicely. The album has a lot of diversity between the upbeat folk sounding sounds and the mellow songs such as the intro in 'Celebrate You'. Steve has a very appealing voice that blends so nicely within the acoustic backdrop. I really like 'I Will Love You Always'. Its a beautiful and simple song with wonderful string and piano backdrop. I am extremely impressed with Steve's diversity. He is known as a 'children's music' composer, yet he can leap into other genres such as Americana, and do it extremely well. Thanks for releasing such a nice album . - Kevin Lucas, Award Winning World Music Composer & People's Music Award Winner in London

"Though this isn't a genre (FOLK MUSIC) that I would ordinarily listen to, I can tell quality music when I hear it, and this is certainly the case. The songwriting is superb, Steve's voice is very warm and has a unique, compelling quality to it, that invites the listener to get into the story he tells with each tune. For me, it's been the key factor to keep me interested and excited throughout the album. The playing is impeccable yet very expressive, the arrangements are entertaining, in the sense that there's always an instrument, or even two, keeping your attention melodically in the instrumental sections, and I recall a couple of slide guitar solos that I found particularly good. "My guitar is like an old dog" stuck as one of my favorite tracks. Audio-wise, the mix is really good, coherent from track to track while remaining true to what each song calls for. Transparent, even on the busier sections, allowing each part to shine through. An enjoyable listen, worthy of your time and consideration".

- Emilio D. Miler, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Film Score Composer

"Steve Pullara’s latest opus, "Another Happy Sole" serves up a heaping helping of warm feelings. Certainly no surprise coming from the Grammy Award winning singer/song writer/ producer of the important and timely children’s album, "All About Bullies... Big And Small." Steve’s new album takes us into more grown-up territory, while retaining much of the sense of wonder and innocence that his other works have excelled in. While most of the music I am involved with could be classified as decidedly “UN-Americana", my father was an old school Bill Monroe fan and LOVED the banjo and Steve’s family-friendly approach brought back many happy memories. Definite praise is due Steve’s whole band, with special kudos to Valerie on Fiddle and Brian's syrupy-sweet dobro (another weakness of mine). One of the big standout tracks for me was "The Times of John Glenn." When I was growing up, he was the greatest hero in the WORLD next to John Kennedy! (You can probably guess my age from THAT reference… heh). A beautifully paced John Lennon cover was a real surprise and with the deft stage management of a seasoned performer, Steve wraps up the album with "Being With You", featuring Alfred James Goodrich’s gorgeously played cello (the warmth of the cello is just perfect) and lyrics that bring together the wonder of a child and the nostalgia of an adult. "Another Happy Sole" is a wonderful musical stroll that will absolutely keep your feet grinning from ear to ear." - Joshua Cheek, GRAMMY Nominated New Age Composer & Producer

I find Steve Pullara to be a prolific lyricist, but most importantly a man of artistic action. From listening to his work for the first time, I felt that Steve had a command of the purpose of music and lyrics - human connection. Then, I had the pleasure of contact with him via the Grammy community, first by email and then by phone. Steve’s sense of connecting to people was very refreshing and true to his heart. We’ve had many deep discussions on the incredible power of music connecting people’s souls and Steve is a master of it. When he asked me to pre-produce his voice on ‘Buckaroo Shuffle’ and especially ‘I Will Love You Always’, I knew it was going to be a highly successful collaboration; I loved every moment of it. As I recall, ‘I Will Love You Always’ is a tribute to his long time married parents, and his heart felt feeling for them was an honor to experience. As everyone else has said, in one way or another; the album ‘Another Happy Soul’ deserves your consideration for multiple reasons, and to be heard and enjoyed by as many listeners around the world as possible.

"Very nice, Steve. Beautiful production." - Steve Deynes, Mutliple Award Winning Recording Artist in Hullabaloo

"This lovely folk album by Pullara marks an interesting shift to an American Roots vibe compared to his work in recent year's in Children's music which I am more familiar with. And, as the music on "Another Happy Sole" by Steve Pullara and his Red Earded Sliderz band plays on, the premise in the music as noted in the liners brings it all together - about his audience who were once preschoolers, are now in their '30s and starting families and this album is for them. Fun album. The songwriting on the album is very good and the performances are also very enjoyable. I really enjoyed the guitar parts, the piano and of course the fiddle parts. The visual imagery of the album art is also an introduction to Pullara's trademark red sneakers, something I was never aware of. Well, I am now..."

- Arun Shenoy, Grammy Nominated Producer

"The songs on this album are so positive; they keep playing in your mind long after you’ve listened to them. Slide guitar, accordion, fiddle and double bass all come together good and tight on "Fumes And A Prayer" and "Celebrate You." "Buckaroo Shuffle" and "When I Was A Kid" puts a spring in your step, not forgetting the hummable ‘dum-dee-doo-doo’ parts. In a nutshell, "Another Happy Sole" makes many happy souls!" - Ricky Kej, India, Award Winning Film Score Composer and Recording Artist

For years, Steve Pullara has been entertaining children with his performances and music. He's always delivered catchy tunes with a message and done it in a way that kids didn't even know they were getting a life lesson! This time around, Steve addresses the adults in his new release ANOTHER HAPPY SOLE. What is magical about this record is that it often takes us grownups back to our childhoods. I felt completely transported during "The Times of John Glenn." Memories came flooding back about how exciting the "space race" was for all of us kids. Plus the musicianship on this song reminded me of the times my dad would put a Kingston Trio record on the turntable and we'd all sing along. Kudos to The Red Eared Sliderz with their banjos and mandolins and dobros and accordions and fiddles which bring these songs to life: a life we can all relate to." - Debbi Calton, Award Winning Radio On Air Personality of WMGK, Philadelphia, PA

"The whole album was great to hear, natural, upbeat music-making, very well-done and produced, excellent instrumentalists (some great guitar licks and I loved the addition of the violin). It's very appealing and I'm sure your audiences get a ton of pleasure from you. Your singing voice is very natural and clear, beautiful diction, great lyrics - ranging from emotional to very funny, etc. I was struck by the variety of the music- it seemed like a combination of Country, Americana, Children's, etc. but all very nice. I hate to pick favorites, but there is something about "When I was a Kid" that was very touching- the passage of time, thinking of my friends a little every day, looking in the mirror and not recognizing yourself-that is a really great tune, my friend, filled with feeling."

- Michael Lewin, International Prize-Winning Concert Pianist; Artist-Faculty, The Boston Conservatory

"Having worked with Steve Pullara on "Another Happy Sole", I can say that he is a GRAMMY winning producer that really has a vision and brings out the best in recording artists. These were fun and friendly sessions. It was enjoyable working on the string arrangements in his songs and you can feel the good creative vibe all through this album." -Alfred James Goodrich, Silvertone Studios

"Classic, fun Steve Pullara tunes! Familiar and upbeat, a winning combination his longtime fans can appreciate! Steve has written a Folk Album of songs geared toward his grown-up fan base and beyond!" The tracks all have an easy going, acoustic, jammin' in the living room kind of vibe. Good work, Steve!! -Tab Laven, Award Winning Songwriter and Musician, Touring Guitarist with Art Garfunkel and the Beach Boys
